One of the benefits to working with Brevard Achievement Center is obtaining on the job training experience that matches individual interests and skills. Austin recently found his perfect match with MBV Engineering.
Austin currently attends Eau Gallie High School and was referred to Brevard Achievement Center to explore career options. His mother mentioned that he had completed his AutoCAD certification at school. With that in mind, the job search began! The challenge with Austin was to find an On-the-Job Training that he was interested in and that could fit his school schedule. Fortunately, during a search of the AutoCAD field on LinkedIn, MBV Engineering Inc. popped up!
MBV couldn’t have been a better option for Austin. Located right down the street from Eau Gallie High School, we were thrilled when Bruce Moia, P.E., President of MBV responded quickly saying, “ My CAD Techs are looking forward to it!” Austin began working at MBV this month and he will be working three days a week after school until mid-January. He will be shadowing Anthony Relaford and others in the AutoCAD department. He has even been assigned his own work space for his experience! What a great opportunity for a High School student. We appreciate MBV so very much for giving Austin this opportunity.
