Art Programs

At BAC, we believe that everyone is capable of creative expression no matter their artistic ability. That’s why there are two distinct parts of BAC Arts.

Participants in BAC’s Adult Day Training (ADT) program foster their creativity in a classroom setting each day. Our artists with disabilities explore a number of mediums in our on-site art studio, including clay and fused glass, drawing, watercolor and acrylic painting, bead work for jewelry, assembly of rubber door mats and more.

Those interested in purchasing studio creations can do so weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the lobby of BAC’s Rockledge headquarters, as well as throughout the year at local art fairs. In addition, Holmes Regional Gift Shop in Melbourne and Cocoa Beach Surf Company in Cocoa Beach carry BAC Art program items. Proceeds from art sales go directly back to the studio.

Email our Arts Instructor or call 321.632.8610 to find out what’s in stock or for custom art orders.

BAC Arts also offers an inclusive arts program to the community for ages six and above. Dance, music, painting, sculpting and acting are a few of the mediums taught by visiting artists provided by the BAC Arts to Brevard Public Schools Exceptional Student Education students in elementary through high school, as well as adults in BAC’s ADT program. This arts education is then brought to life at annual events such as the Performing Arts Showcase, BAC Arts Festival at Brevard Zoo and our Holiday Card Contest. Individual donations and grants fund this inclusive and interactive arts program.

To learn more about how you can get involved, contact our Arts Program Manager or call 321.632.8610.
