Brevard Achievement Center (BAC) is pleased to announce that due to excitement generated from its inaugural event the agency will once again host its unique “Dinner in the Dark” event. The 2nd annual fundraiser will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the King Center’s Studio Theatre. Dinner will be prepared and served by the Green Turtle Market.
Besides experiencing dinner in a whole new light, guests will be entertained by self-taught pianist James A. Williams, the 2016 Very Special Arts Florida Young Soloist winner. In addition, this year’s silent auction at the Dinner in the Dark will feature extraordinary items like “Finding Dory” animation art autographed by Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ty Burrell, Idris Elba, Kate McKinnon, Diane Keaton, Bill Hader, Ed O’Neill and Kaitlin Olson, as well as “Hotel California” sheet music signed by Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Don Felder and Randy Meisner. And, as always, unique art made by BAC’s artists with disabilities at Cogswell Street Studio also will be up for bid.
Sponsorships and tickets are still available for Dinner in the Dark.
