The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International) recently granted Brevard Achievement Center (BAC) another three-year accreditation, the highest offered.
CARF International recognizes health service organizations around the world for meeting certain standards of excellence. Regarding BAC, surveyors from California and Connecticut spent three days in December 2014 at the agency to talk to clients, staff and Board members and review agency documentation to ensure that those standards were being met. In January, the agency received the official report that it had been granted three-year accreditation by the organization.
“BAC has consecutively maintained CARF International’s highest standards of quality for decades because of the dedication and professionalism of our team,” said BAC President and CEO, Amar Patel. “The Board and I are extremely grateful to CARF International for recognizing that fact through their highest honor,” he said.
