What do Mo Bamba, Aaron Gordon, Terrence Ross, Evan Fournier, and Isiah Thomas have in common? They’re all starting players for the Orlando Magic. Additionally, they are some of Johnny W.’s favorite basketball players. This time the Dream. Wish. Wonder. team took their power even farther by scoring Johnny VIP box seats to see his favorite hometown team.
Watching sports on the television is one thing, but getting the chance to see them played in person is an outstanding opportunity you cannot pass up. When Johnny expressed his interest to our Dream team, they put their skills to the test and then some. Thanks to Kristin C. and her connections, Johnny was presented with two tickets to the Amway Center’s box suite for a night to remember.
Accompanying Johnny on game night against the Charleston Hornets was Ines R. Together they sat back, relaxed, and cheered on their team from high above. Feeling like the king of the court, Johnny took advantage of the delicious complimentary food spread all while reclining in the leather seats of the suite. Sadly, however, the Magic lost that night 137 to 100. But regardless of the scoreboard, the Dream team scored a million points with Johnny.
Thankful for his ability to have had his dream achieved, Johnny was nothing but smiles. Though game day is over, Johnny has this memory and photos to last him a lifetime. And who knows, may Johnny will become a season ticket holder in the future!
