On Thursday, November 7, Brevard Achievement Center (BAC) will be presented with a Central Florida Humanitarian Award during a Gala at the Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place beginning at 7pm. Founded by Maverick Multimedia, the Central Florida Humanitarian Awards recognize individuals and organizations for their “time, talent and treasure” in helping individuals in need locally and around the world. BAC is one of 30 such humanitarians to be honored that evening.
“Over the years, our editorial team has had the distinct honor and pleasure of identifying and featuring the many members of our community who give back so much and are dedicated to reaching out and helping others, here and throughout the world, in a multitude of ways,” said Maverick Multimedia Editor-In-Chief Dr. Jim Palermo via SpaceCoastDaily.com. “We remain firmly committed to identifying and telling those stories and providing a timely media platform to recognize Space Coast and Central Florida residents’ altruistic contributions on a regular basis in our magazines, as well as SpaceCoastDaily.com,” he said.
BAC President and CEO, Amar Patel, will accept the award Thursday evening.
“The Space Coast is abundant with dedicated individuals and organizations that serve the community through many worthy means,” said BAC President and CEO, Amar Patel. “We are deeply grateful to be chosen for this award and want to express our deepest thanks to those that selected us for this recognition.”
