The Dream. Wish. Wonder. program celebrates our clients and assists them in achieving their wildest dreams, no matter how big or small. Through our supporters, we are able to successfully obtain resources that go directly into our program, making dreams come true. From getting the opportunity to spend the day with fire fighters, to a special all-access tour at the Sea Life Aquarium in Orlando, the Dream. Wish. Wonder. team really goes above and beyond making these fantasies come to life.
Tracy’s Holy Land Experience
Graciously thankful for her prospects and blessings, Tracy H. has taken a comfortable liking to spirituality. For Tracy, this is where she finds her place of serenity and solidarity. When asked by the Dream Team what her wildest dream was, she simply replied, “to visit the Holy Land Experience.” With the donations from our dream pool, we were able to send Tracy on a day to the Holy Land with chaperone Nikia B.
Arriving at the doors of the enormous building, Tracy could hardly contain her excitement. Together her and Nikia entered a world of tranquility and immediately began exploring. The girls did many things on their outing. Tracy’s favorite moments were attending four live shows. The actor’s portrayal of biblical experiences made Tracy feel dazed with its realism. One in particular was the Tabernacle Tour of the Arc of the Covenant. “It’s like the Bible come to life!” she exclaimed. Between the showings, Tracy and Nikia observed sculptures and traditional nativity scenes. All of which Tracy used as a photo-op.
Seeing the enjoyment on Tracy’s face in photographs is the reason the Dream Team does what they do. Her pure happiness and joy of this excursion was achieved by a team effort. Through our generous staff member volunteering her time and by the continuous support of Brevard Achievement Center’s followers, the day was a success. This dream for Tracy might seem modest to most, but to her, this was the journey of a lifetime.
