Workforce Excellence That Drives Mission-Ready Facilities
Desirea’s journey with BAC began as part of a team responsible for maintaining multiple buildings. As contracts and staffing needs evolved, she stepped into full responsibility for the DEOMI School building, one of the base’s largest and most active facilities, serving more than 100 staff members and 300 students daily. With a disciplined routine and unwavering attention to detail, Desirea ensures every space is clean, safe, and ready for use.
Over the years, Desirea has taken on some of BAC’s most demanding facilities, including the Child Development Center, Youth Centers, secure credentialing offices, and beachside restrooms. Each environment comes with unique challenges, from strict sanitation standards to physically demanding conditions. No matter the assignment, Desirea delivers the same high standard of quality and care.
Beyond her technical skills, Desirea’s sense of ownership sets her apart. She holds herself to high expectations and takes pride in knowing her work makes a difference. That pride inspires confidence in building occupants and reinforces BAC’s reputation for excellence in facilities management.
Desirea has also navigated her career while managing a disability, and she credits BAC’s supportive environment as a key factor in her success. With understanding leadership and accommodations when needed, she has found stability, appreciation, and purpose in her work. BAC is more than a workplace, it’s where she feels valued and motivated to give her best every day.
Desirea’s story is a powerful example of the impact of inclusive employment through the AbilityOne Program. With the right support and opportunity, individuals with disabilities can thrive in mission-critical roles while contributing meaningful value to their organizations.
At BAC, employees like Desirea are the foundation of our success. Her dedication, integrity, and pride in her work help ensure our partners receive the high-quality TFM Total Facilities Management services they expect—and deserve.
