Our BAC Youth Services Learn To Earn program students took off into exciting new career paths this summer!
This summer was packed with exciting opportunities for our youth. From unique industry tours to work based learning, students explored possible career paths and gained invaluable experience. We want to thank our partners at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex, L3 Harris, Computer Rich LLC and the Brevard Zoo for providing an exceptional learning experiences and informational tours. Hear from our students on what they are saying about the Learn to Earn Youth program tour of L3 Global Innovation Center:
“The tour through the demonstration area was fun, I liked learning about the things they make.”
“My tour experience at L3 Harris was captivating and inspiring. I understand that L3 Harris is a big company, but during my tour, I learned that faculty at L3 Harris are treated likely family and have great work environments. I also learned about the diverse job opportunities that L3 Harris offers; from working as a scientist to an engineer, analyst, or janitor. I also learned a few things about work and what makes a good worker; things like work ethic, experience, and schooling. In conclusion, L3 Harris is a very important part of our society, and supply job opportunities in multiple areas and specialties. During the L3 Harris tour, I was also taught valuable life lessons and how to be a hardworking, successful employee. Thank you Mrs Keri for giving me and my sister this great and unique opportunity to see and experience L3 Harris.”
