Art Elements with Pastels

Supplies Needed

Art paper in your box
BAC pencil
Pastels in box – these are oil pastels – broken into pieces enough for your students
Washable black markers
Heart shape cut outs in box
Protective cover for workspace
Paint smock to protect clothes from marker and pastels
Wet paper towels or wipes for hands
Hair spray or spray fixative (teachers apply)

Project Instructions

Preview this video lesson first.
You may want to instruct your students to begin making lines on their paper with pencil and then trace over with black marker.
