VP of Operations | BAC

When it comes to federal contracting, experience, reliability, and compliance aren’t just advantages—they’re necessities. At BAC, we deliver all three and more. With a deep-rooted understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and a proven track record of high-performance service delivery, BAC has become a trusted name in government contracting.
As BAC’s Vice President of Operations and resident FAR subject matter expert, I can confidently say that our team doesn’t just meet government standards—we exceed them. The FAR ensures fair, standardized, and transparent procurement across federal agencies, and at BAC, we live and breathe these principles, embedding them into every aspect of our operations.
Our longstanding custodial service contract at Space Launch Delta 45 at Patrick Space Force Base and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is a shining example of our reliability and dedication.
“Our partnership with SLD 45 spans more than two decades. This longevity is a testament to our teams’ commitment to excellence in service, assuring warfighter preparedness while being the right value for our federal government,” says Amar Patel, President and CEO at BAC.
For more than 25 years, we’ve supported these critical installations with high-quality custodial and facility support services—proving that BAC can be counted on, year after year.
BAC currently holds 15 contracts serving as Prime Contractor on 12 and Subcontractor on 3, with operations spanning the Southeast U.S. and Puerto Rico. BAC delivers services through the AbilityOne Program, Florida’s State-Use Program (RESPECT), and private commercial contracts, allowing us to maximize employment opportunities for people of all abilities in the communities we serve.
The AbilityOne program is one of the nation’s most successful employment initiatives for individuals with significant disabilities and a proven economic driver in today’s landscape. At its core, AbilityOne represents excellence in business partnerships, and we’re proud to play a vital role in its mission.
In line with the AbilityOne program, BAC’s focus is threefold: a commitment to excellence in service, supporting warfighter preparedness and health services, and delivering real value for our government partners. Every BAC contract is a reflection of these priorities. We work hard to ensure our services enhance operational readiness and contribute meaningfully to federal missions.
Last year alone, BAC employed 115 Veterans, including 86 with service-related disabilities—evidence to our commitment to providing opportunities and honoring the service of those who’ve protected our nation.
