Welcome to the Encore Showing of BAC’s 8th Annual Performing Arts Showcase!
The 8th Annual BAC Performing Arts Showcase was held at the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts on May 10th, 2022 featuring middle and high school Exceptional Student Education students from Brevard Public Schools, and adults with disabilities from BAC’s Adult Day Training program celebrating HeARTs for the Arts!
These performers stepped onto the King Center’s main stage to either act, sing or dance thanks to the instruction they’ve received from local professional performance artists. Many thanks to these professional artists who helped guide, encourage, inspire and motivate our performers during the past eight weeks of practice. A special round of applause is extended to the dedicated members of BAC’s Arts Advisory Council for their guidance in the continued production of this spectacular showcase.
Of course, it goes without saying that a lot of leg work goes into the coordination of the Showcase. For that, we sincerely thank our BAC Arts Program Manager, Lee Sorensen, for her unwavering support of our arts for all.
We also would like to say “Bravo!” to our generous donors. This production would not be as spectacular as it is today without their gifts and encouragement of support. While the pandemic has certainly impacted the way we live, work, and enjoy arts and culture in Brevard, and around the world, BAC is proud to have served more than 3,300 people this past year including the approximately 1,600 ESE students who participate in our studio events and employment training programs.
